COMPREHENSIVE EYE EXAMS
During a comprehensive eye exam, our doctors will evaluate your eyes for a refractive error (nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, presbyopia), check your binocular vision system ( eye coordination, tracking and focussing), and evaluate your eyes for eye diseases including cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration.
It is recommended that adults 19 and older have their eyes examined every 1-2 years.
CONTACT LENS FITTING
We provide contact lens fittings, teaches and evaluation for soft contact lenses. At your comprehensive eye examination, the doctor will determine if you are a good candidate for contact lenses.
CHILDRENS EYE EXAMS
The Canadian Association of Optometry recommends the first eye exam for children at 6 months old. It is important to detect and treat any sight threatening conditions early to ensure the best quality of life.
Children should be seen yearly for their eye exams until the age of 18.
